1. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks

While Joel Embiid’s talent may border on mind-boggling, Giannis’s actually boggles the mind. The Greek Freak is simply that, a freak. Giannis does things on the basketball court that don’t seem human. His length, strides, and footwork are essentially alien to the NBA. You know it’s serious when other NBA players seem amazed at what he can do.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

Giannis had his breakout campaign in 2016-17, averaging 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.6 steals per game. That is the very definition of stuffing the stat sheet.

The fact that he averaged less than three turnovers per game is genuinely surprising for a player that handles the ball as much as he does.

At 6-foot-11, Giannis is a point-forward that does things we’ve simply never seen before, and perhaps never will again. He can’t even shoot yet, but he’s slowly improving. If he gets a reliable jumper, the rest of the league may be completely screwed. He’s nearly impossible to guard as it is.

This is a player that can play and defend four positions, and at 22 he’s still just scratching the surface of his potential.

I find it hard to imagine Milwaukee trading him for any other player in the league. You just can’t give up a guy that can do things nobody else can. He’s the most valuable asset in the NBA right now.
