LeBron is still good

Cleveland has rebounded a bit after a woeful start. They are now 11-7 and have the 4th best offense in the league. Just wait until they get Isaiah Thomas back. Defense is still atrocious as the Cavs are last in the league by a mile. Don’t blame LeBron; in his 15th season, he is better than ever, which is incredible and scary.

LeBron is averaging 28.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game on nearly 60 percent shooting from the field. Without LeBron, the Cavs would still be a disaster. His PER is the highest its been in five years.

To win, Cleveland needs him to be great every night. Probably not what LeBron wants, but it’s great for us to watch. He has been playing more at point guard this year with the injuries, and it has served Cleveland well. Ty Lue should keep playing him there until Isiah Thomas comes back. His 8.7 assists match a career best, and he still makes passes no one else can. Defensively, he has been the only Cavalier to play above average defense.

Cleveland is no longer a shoe-in to win the East. If they do it is because of LeBron’s all-time greatness. This team has serious holes, and LeBron can plug all of them.
