The Kings continue to struggle

Dave Joerger is a good coach, De’Aron Fox is an enticing rookie, and the Kings play hard most nights, but boy there are serious issues. This team was so poorly constructed it’s ridiculous. Sacramento is 4-14 and is lottery bound again. They have the worst point differential in the league and have a weird mix of veterans like Vince Carter, Zach Randolph, Kosta Koufos and Garett Temple.

Signing the veterans made no sense to me; this team is rebuilding and has no use for those players.

It’s not working. The Kings are 30th in offense and 28th in defense. Yikes! There are problems all over the floor. Teams will be interested in their veterans; they may be able to get more picks and young assets. The rest of the season should be for seeing what they have in the young guys. There is some promise here; they just need to be allowed to play through their mistakes.
