1. Sacramento Kings: Luka Doncic, SG/SF, Slovenia

Big Board Rank: 1

This seems to be the clear-cut answer here giving Luka’s amazing talent, and Vlade Divac’s love for his fellow European players. Doncic has been the most impressive teenager to ever play overseas, currently averaging 17.8 points, 4.4 assists, and 7.2 rebounds in the Euroleague playing for Real Madrid.

Doncic plays as the primary ball handler for his team and is an incredible passer with great vision. The 4.4 assists do not do him justice because it is so much harder to get an assist in international ball, rather than college or NBA. However, Luka won’t be the primary ball handler or creator with De’Aaron Fox as the Kings point guard for the future.

This benefits Doncic as he won’t have to worry about blazing speed or creating separation which are two of his weaknesses. Hopefully Dave Joerger will get Doncic in floppy schemes, pin down screens, etc to make sure Doncic is in the best possible position to score.
