2. Golden State Warriors (44-14)

In two out of the past three seasons, the Golden State Warriors have finished first in the Western Conference and the Houston Rockets were right behind them in second place.

As we come down to the end of the 2017-18 NBA season, the Warriors might just fall back to the second seed in the conference, which doesn’t drastically hurt their chances for their fourth straight finals appearance.

Although, if there was a Houston Vs. Golden State Western Conference Finals game, there would be home court advantage for the Rockets, and that could definitely tip the scale one way.

With all that being said, when you have two MVP’s in your starting lineup, you’re going to have a great chance of getting to the NBA Finals.

Healthy Golden State > Everyone else (This may still be true, regardless of standings).
