Get to the line

With somebody who is quick and can get to the hoop, like Lamar Peters can, one would figure he’d shoot a ton of free throws. In fact, for Peters, it’s quite the opposite.

He’s actually only attempts 1.6 free throws a game. This is a trait that is valued highly for point guard prospects, especially score first point guards. Peters is actually a quality finisher especially for his size at the rim, so if he continues to drive the lane hard he will draw more and more fouls.

If Peters has his eyes on making it at the next level, this is the type of thing that can help him separate himself from similar-style point guards. Getting to the line is quite necessary for any guard prospect.
