Toronto Raptors

Burning Question: How close is close enough?

If history has taught us anything, it’s that no team in the Eastern Conference will ever beat LeBron James. However, this might be the best Toronto Raptors team in quite some time – perhaps ever.

But how close is close enough for Toronto? For example, if they fall short of the NBA Finals again, how close do they have to get in order to continue down this road with this core? How far do they have to get in the playoffs without some sort of overhaul?

Many thought that this team was going to get a facelift this past summer. That didn’t happen. Could it happen this summer if they fail to hit a certain round in the postseason?
