13. LA Clippers – Robert Williams, F, TAMU

It’s a luxury that the LA Clippers get two pick in the top 13, and after drafting Collin Sexton with the No. 11 pick in the NBA Draft, it would be smart for LA to prepare for the worst this summer.

And the worst is DeAndre Jordan opting out of his contract and leaving for nothing in exchange. In this scenario, the Clippers would need a big to come in a potentially start – or play a big role – immediately.

I’m not sure if Robert Williams is a day 1 starter – it’s actually rare to find those at this point in the draft – but he has potential to be that one day. He would be a smart, and potentially safe pick.
