2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Mo Bamba crashes the top 3; Trae Young falls

9. New York Knicks – Trae Young, PG, Oklahoma

If the board falls this way, the New York Knicks would have a dilemma on their hands. They could either take the big-name, explosive point guard or a player that is more of a natural fit like Mikal or Miles Bridges.

In the end, I don’t think the Knicks will be able to not draft the potential star power and Trae Young. They could actually make it work by playing Frank Ntilikina off-ball, but it’s better to get the talent now and worry about fit later.

Young takes a bit of a fall here, but might find a nice landing spot under the big, bright lights of New York.
