12. LA Clippers (via Detroit Pistons) – Robert Williams, F/C, Texas A&M
With the possibility of losing DeAndre Jordan this summer, if he elects to opt out of the final year of his contract, the LA Clippers could actually go out and draft his replacement. The way to board fell, that is Robert Williams.
Williams is an athletic, raw big that could end up being a quality big in today’s game. There are legit questions surrounding his offense, but again he’s raw and should improve with NBA trainers and coaches.
It’s a bit of a risk here, but at this point in the draft it’s worth it.
