2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Mo Bamba crashes the top 3; Trae Young falls

24. Portland Trail Blazers – Keita Bates-Diop, F, Ohio State

There are some scouts that don’t believe Keita Bates-Diop should be a first-round pick in this year’s NBA Draft, but at the same time I find it hard to believe that a team isn’t going to roll the dice on KBD.

Taking him at 24 wouldn’t be the biggest gamble on the board, and could really help the Blazers as they attempt to take another step in their team building.

This is a franchise that has a ton of questions to answer this summer, and I honestly don’t know if they’re planning on making a big roster shift this summer, but adding KBD could help cushion what’s ahead.
