2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Mo Bamba crashes the top 3; Trae Young falls

7. Chicago Bulls – Wendell Carter, C, Duke

Wendell Carter was largely overlooked at Duke during his freshman season because of Marvin Bagley, but he’s extremely talented and could end up being one of the best bigs in this draft. Here at No. 7, with a handful of they targets off the board, the Bulls must settle for Carter.

And he’s not a bad consolation prize, either.

Carter averaged 13 points and nine rebounds per game, on an efficient 56 percent shooting from the field and an interesting 43 percent from 3-point range. There is potential there, and he could be a nice building piece for the Bulls moving forward.
