Mikal Bridges projects as a prototypical 3-and-D NBA player, and something that the Philadelphia 76ers might be in need of after this summer. With the uncertainty that revolves around J.J. Redick’s free agency, Bridges could help cushion the potential loss of their veteran shooter.

It’s unfair to expect Bridges to fill the void entirely, but he’s the type of player that you bring in as insurance.

Bridges could one day grow into that role, and the best thing about him is that you can just slide him into the rotation no questions asked.
