The Cavs will trade the No. 8 pick

The Cleveland Cavaliers need to figure out a way to make their roster look more appealing for LeBron James, who is going to hit free agency next month. And the best way for them to do that is to strike a trade, probably on NBA Draft night. The No. 8 overall pick and Kevin Love are the best assets they have on the roster – and neither are really all that valuable at the moment.

Nevertheless, the Cavs need to do whatever they can to make the team look more attractive. It’s really the only way they’re going to keep LeBron James, especially if you believe the reports that he wants Los Angeles or Houston.

I’m not sure who they will try to trade for, but a few names that could be in play are Kemba Walker, Kyle Lowry or DeMar DeRozan, and possibly Kawhi Leonard (though, they will likely need a third team to make it all happen).
