Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets may or may not trade Kemba Walker this summer. I can never really tell what they’re thinking. However, one thing is for sure, they need to rebuild – or retool – the roster. And I’m not sure they can do that with keeping Kemba on the roster.

Kemba is their most valuable asset, and if they want to get out of salary cap hell they probably have to move him while being attached to Nicolas Batum. And if they want to begin their rebuild, it’s probably something that has to happen sooner rather than later – like this summer.

I know they’ve said all the right things, stating that they want to keep Kemba, but if they seriously want to get out of their own way those two things can’t co-exist.
