What’s up with the Minnesota Timberwolves?

There’s sort of an elephant in the room for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and they really haven’t yet addressed it this offseason. And perhaps they hope to just shove it under their bed and hope it disappears.

So far this offseason, we’ve heard that Andrew Wiggins isn’t happy with the team and that Karl-Anthony Towns may not be as comfortable as he should be with management. It has also been reported that Jimmy Butler isn’t happy with the work ethic that their young players have and he just declined an extension this summer.

Heh.

Many believed that we would see a Wolves trade this summer, but nothing ever came to fruition. Or, at least, not yet. But just because nothing of substance has happened regarding these issues doesn’t mean they’ll disappear either. I have a feeling we’re going to revisit this again. Soon.
