16. Lonzo Ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Los Angeles Lakers

All eyes will be on LeBron James when the Los Angeles Lakers play this season, but a big part of this team’s success will fall on how effective their starting backcourt will be. We all know Lonzo Ball and even though he struggled with his erratic jump shot during his rookie season, he should be fine.

Ball does enough rebuilding and distributing to still be effective even with a struggling jumper. As far as KCP, he’s coming off the best season of his career (efficiency wise) and will only get better by playing next to a player like LeBron.

He’s a pest on the defensive end, and will fit right next to LeBron. The Lakers, if nothing else, should be fun this season.
