Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics
2017-18 Stats: 13.9 points, 5.0 rebounds
Of all the young Celtics, I think Jayson Tatum has the highest ceiling and most potential. Like Jaylen Brown, the biggest problem with Tatum making a big jump this season will be the talent roster that he’s surrounded with.
There’s a chance that Tatum doesn’t even start at times this season, which is insane. But that’s how talented the Celtics are. With that said, Tatum is good enough where he can outshine the depth of Boston. If he’s good he’ll get the opportunities to showcase his talent.
In the playoffs, Tatum proved that he’s a valuable asset and filled the void left by both Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward. The fact that he’s going to be the third option this season is absolutely unfair.
