1. Golden State Warriors (10-1)

Last week: 1

The Golden State Warriors, once again, check in at No. 1 in our NBA Power Rankings. I know, big surprise. But this team has predictably gotten off to a hot start and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

Even though there was concern that this core could begin to fatigue in year 3 of their journey, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant appear to both be real NBA MVP candidates, and Klay Thompson is absolutely toying with defenses.

The fact that Draymond Green is the fourth best player on this team is so unfair, and considering that DeMarcus Cousins is still expected to make a return at some point in the next few months, yeah…well…I simply don’t have the words anymore.

Just unreal. Unreal.
