A return to mediocrity
A month into the NBA season, the Sacramento Kings are 9-8. And they are actually one of the most exciting teams to watch, thanks in large part to De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. And the Kings should be quite hopeful for that.
Most of all, they should be thankful for returning to mediocrity this season. For many, it’s the place where you simply don’t want to be, but for the Kings it’s another step in their long rebuild. This is one that needed to be taken for years, but finally managed to take it this year.
The Kings likely won’t make the playoffs this season, but they are proving to be a tough out every night.
