The San Antonio Spurs continue to struggle their way through the season, and continue to show characteristics of being a team that lacks an identity. This is something that we simply haven’t seen from this franchise in a very long time.
This is a team that has made the playoffs for 20-plus seasons in a row. And right now, if the season strangely ended today, they wouldn’t be good enough to secure a top 8 seed in the Western Conference.
That’s strange to see, but could suggest some serious shakeups within the organization soon. Don’t be surprised if we see Gregg Popovich call it a career sooner rather than later.
