1. R.J. Barrett, F, Duke
Some may have Zion Williamson at No. 1 in their rankings, but I can’t help but think that has more to do with the fact that he’s more of a highlight machine than a slam dunk prospect. I may be wrong here, but I think Barrett could project to be the better all-around player.
Again, we’re practically splitting hairs between the two top Duke prospects. Both of these players have the ability to be real franchise changers atop this NBA Draft. There is a lot to like about Barrett, however.
So far this season, he’s shown the ability to be effective all over the court on the offense end. He’s shooting 48 percent from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range. He’s also averaging seven rebounds and four assists per game.
If you’re looking for a new face of your franchise, any team would be lucky to land R.J. Barrett.
