10. San Antonio Spurs (18-16)

It’s actually quite amazing. Ever since I declared the San Antonio Spurs dead in the water, they’ve been on quite the tear. The team has won eight of their last night games and have jumped up the Western Conference standings.

They are sitting in the 7th spot in the conference and are only one game back of a top 4 seed and home-court advantage in the first-round of the playoffs. Something has changed for this team over the last couple of weeks, and they’re playing much better.

I think it’s important to note that we should never doubt Gregg Popovich. It seems like he has the machine that is the Spurs running again.
