2. Denver Nuggets (21-10)

The Denver Nuggets are fighting through some injuries – what’s new – but they are doing a fine job staying afloat. They currently own the best record in the Western Conference and are doing it on the defensive end this season, something that couldn’t be said about this team in years past.

They have the 6th best defense in the NBA and are one of the few teams that has a to 10 offense too. If they continue to have a stingy defense, and get healthy, there’s no question that this team is going to make a return to the playoffs this season.

Heck, at the pace that they’re playing, they might even host a first, and possibly second, round playoff series.
