10. Houston Rockets (20-15)

The Houston Rockets have won nine of their last 10 games, and are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now. James Harden has been so good as of late, and is averaging 36 points, eight assists and six rebounds during the month of December.

The team has been able to survive without Chris Paul in the lineup, too. It’s tough to say whether this team has solved all of their issues, because it’s almost impossible to admit that at this point. But you can say that they are playing much better.

Expect the Rockets to still survey the trade market and seek a quality bench player to add for the stretch run.
