San Antonio Spurs: LaMarcus Aldridge
This won’t be a popular pick in San Antonio, but I don’t believe this franchise has any idea where it’s headed for the first time in a long time. They have a shot to be a top 4 seed in the West when this season is all said and done, but they still don’t present much of a threat to make a deep run in the playoffs.
Part of the reason is because they have a small ceiling. LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan are fine players, but they shouldn’t be anyone’s best players. And that’s the biggest issue with this team right now.
They will likely make the playoffs, but this team really needs to think about blowing up the roster. And moving Aldridge would be the first move in achieving that.
