The Houston Rockets being on this list shouldn’t come as a surprise. Daryl Morey is one of the most active general managers in recent history, and if his team isn’t sitting atop the league he’s going to work until it comes to fruition. And that means being active at the NBA Trade Deadline.

It’s what he’s done before and what he’ll likely do again this season. The Rockets missed on trading for Jimmy Butler earlier this season, and could really use some added depth to the roster ahead of their second half playoff push.

The Rockets should be looking for a 3-and-D player that could help give this team more wiggle room when it comes to their wing rotation. I’m not sure if that’s something they’ll be able to find on the open market, but you can almost bet that Morey is going to try.
