Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers

When the Cleveland Cavaliers extended Kevin Love during the off-season, they viewed that move as one that will pay off in the long-run. Perhaps the endgame to that plan is in the next few weeks. Assuming Love can prove that he’s healthy, he would be a great asset to move for the Cavs.

He’s on a long-term contract and has proven to be effective in the new NBA. He’d be a great fit on a number of teams that are in search for a second or third option. Because of that, he’d offer a great return for the Cavs, who are in the beginning stages of a long rebuild.

Love doesn’t fit on this current team’s timeline, and it would be foolish for the Cavs not to move Love sooner rather than later. But Love’s health makes all this that much more difficult. Who knows how healthy he may or may not be. That, in the end, will be the determining factor here.
