19. Minnesota Timberwolves (24-25)

It’s actually quite surprising that the Minnesota Timberwolves haven’t exactly fallen off the cliff in the Western Conference since trading Jimmy Butler. They’re only three games back of the 8th and final playoff spot.

With that said, I don’t think anyone really expects the Wolves to make any kind of real push towards the playoffs. It would. certainly be a great story, but that seems highly unlikely at this point.

Credit Karl-Anthony Towns and the rest of this roster that has stepped up in the loss of their best player just a couple months ago. Perhaps there was some growth in Minnesota.
