What an offer would look like:

Pelicans Get: Nikola Jokic, Will Barton, first-round pick

Nuggets Get: Anthony Davis, E’Twaun Moore

The Denver Nuggets have said in the past that Nikola Jokic is the one untouchable player on their roster, but would that change if they were offered Anthony Davis? It’s a great question, and one that I’m not sure what the answer is.

However, in the event that they get in the game, I don’t think anyone would be surprised if they offered a player like Jokic. I don’t think Jokic will every get to the ceiling that AD is, or can get to, but it would be intriguing to see AD with the current young core of the Nuggets.

Jokic would provide the Pelicans a nice building block with Davis leaving, or a nice trade piece if they’re not in love with him as a future player in the new NBA.
