5. Oklahoma City Thunder (37-19)

The Oklahoma City Thunder didn’t really make a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline, but could be real players when it comes to the buyout market over the next few weeks. But even if the Thunder don’t add any players, this is a team that has been one of the most consistent teams this season in the Western Conference.

The job that Paul George has done this season shouldn’t be overlooked. Much of the credit often goes to Russell Westbrook, who is averaging a triple-double once again. But George has been an MVP candidate this season, and the thunder wouldn’t be sitting in the third seed of the Western Conference without him.

If the Thunder make waves during the playoffs this season – after disappointing showing again the Jazz in the first round last year – it’ll be because of Paul George.
