Cassius Winston, Guard, Michigan State (#82 Ranked Prospect)

Michigan State is one of the best teams in the country, and they are led by the Big 10 Player of the Year, Cassius Winston. The junior guard has had his best season and has lead the Spartans to a Big 10 title and a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Winston has played well all year, but he finished the year exceptionally well. He finished the season averaging 18.9 points and 7.6 assists per game. He has shown a great ability to score from anywhere. His playmaking ability is what really sets him apart. Winston is one of the best passers in the country, and his assist numbers back that up.

He lacks great size for the next level. He has what it takes to be a great point guard at the next level. Winston will need to score in the NBA to be effective. With his lack of size, it will be important for him to shoot from the outside well. NBA teams will like the leadership and playmaking ability that he brings.

This NCAA tournament should be a fun one to watch. There are plenty of great players who will be on display, and some of these guys will be playing at the next level next season. This year’s tournament will be worth watching for some great basketball and to see some of the prospects who will be playing in the NBA next year.
