9. New Orleans Pelicans – Keldon Johnson, G/F, Kentucky

After somewhat of a blindside on the part of Anthony Davis this season, the New Orleans Pelicans are expected to have a busy off-season. Nevertheless, it begins with an opportunity to make a splash at the NBA Draft.

At No. 9, the Pelicans taking Keldon Johnson could help mold the future of the franchise. And landing Johnson at No. 9 would, in some circles, be considered a steal. Johnson has been rising up draft boards over the last few weeks and if that continues to be the trend moving forward, he won’t be available at 9.

Averaging 13 points and six rebounds on 46 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent shooting from 3- point range, Johnson has all the tools to be a great wing player at the next level.
