2019 NBA Draft: 5 Prospects who have the most to lose in March
Bol Bol, Oregon
This potential slide in stock is a little unfair for Bol Bol, considering that the games he did play this season were absolutely sensational. Before going down with a season ending foot injury, the 7-foot-2 center averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds in his nine games played. At the time, this stat-line and overall upside was tantalizing enough for some draft experts to put him right next to Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett in the 2019 draft class elite.
Then, the injury happened…
It wasn’t an immediate plummet, but his season ending injury caused him to gradually slide down all projected rankings when other players were progressively showing out. The same risk for the star to slide further down can be applied for the NCAA tournament, which always has the potential for breakout stars.
Unfortunately for Bol, all he can do is watch and wait as his Oregon team try to make it through a tough side of the bracket, hoping that his stock isn’t too affected by other standout players over the course of this next month.
