Minnesota Timberwolves

Much like the Pelicans, it’s easy to look at the Minnesota Timberwolves and shrug your shoulders. However, this is a team that came into the season with some expectations. Jimmy Butler was still a part of this team at the time, and the hope was that Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns would take another step in their progression.

In the end, this season will end up as a big disappointment when looking back. Not only did the team have to trade Butler a few weeks into the season, but they also fired Tom Thibodeau later in the year too.

The Wolves can’t help but go back to the drawing board and try to figure it all out again. It wouldn’t be all that surprising to see things get a bit worse in Minnesota before it gets better, but there’s no question that this is a huge off-season for the franchise.
