13. Miami Heat – Kevin Porter Jr., G, USC

Coming off a disappointing season, the Miami Heat won’t be looking to find their next star with the 13th pick in the NBA Draft, but could find a real diamond in the rough if their scouting team does their due diligence, as they’ve successfully have done throughout the last handful of drafts.

Taking a player with the potential of Kevin Porter Jr. would be a home run. He has the potential and talent to be a lottery pick, but because of the amount of talent in this draft, coupled with his hit and miss freshman season at USC, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this player fall into the late first round.

However, this is where the Heat excel. They have the knack of seeing potential that many other teams fail to see.
