9. Atlanta Hawks (via Dallas Mavericks) – Cam Reddish, F, Duke

After adding Jarrett Culver with the 5th pick, it would only make sense for the Hawks to follow that move up with a smart one. And in this situation, that entails taking the best player still on the board.

If you’re surprised to see Cam Reddish still on the board, this is a scenario that very well could play out on draft night, depending on how he looks in his pre-draft workouts and how he grades out in his individual interviews.

He didn’t have the greatest of freshman seasons at Duke, in large part to being overshadowed by both Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett. Even though that’s somewhat unfair, there are some real questions that emerged from his game this past season.
