Bol Bol, Oregon

Stats: 21 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks

Bol Bol is probably the player with arguably the biggest upside on this list, but is also the one that, rightfully so, carries the most risk. Had Bol not gotten injured this season, there’s a very real chance that he would be in the conversation to be taken in the top 5 of this draft. He’s such a unique prospect, and draws comparisons to Kristaps Porzingis.

However, because of the type of injury that Bol suffered – stress fracture in his left foot – there are many teams that will be trigger shy when potentially taking him high in the first-round. That is an injury that has plagued big men across the board, throughout NBA history. And that’s really the biggest question when it comes to Bol.

When will he be fully recovered from the injury, and how will he look as soon as he makes his way back? Those two questions haven’t been answered yet, and while the hope is they will be in the weeks leading up to the 2019 NBA Draft, there’s no guarantee that they will.

While Bol Bol’s ceiling is extremely high, he’s also the prospect that comes with the highest risk. There’s a very real chance that Bol is either the biggest bust in the draft or the biggest steal.
