Nassir Little, North Carolina
Stats: 10 points, 5 rebounds, 48% FG
If you followed college basketball this season, it’s not at all surprising to see Nassir Little on this list. The North Carolina freshman didn’t exactly have the best of seasons. In fact, he really struggled to turn heads this season and probably will see that effect on draft day when he potentially falls out of the top 10 entirely.
With that said, there’s no denying the raw talent that is present. Little, for one reason or another, simply didn’t fit the best at North Carolina. The athletic ability is there, which is important, but much like many other players on this list, Little is going to need some time to develop – that much was very evident during his lone season at North Carolina.
At the same time, there’s still a chance that he simply isn’t built for it. Not every player with raw talent goes on to fully develop. That’s the big risk when it comes too Little. On the surface, he passes every test. He looks good, will probably play good in pre-draft workouts too. But there’s no question that there is a certain amount of risk should teams taken Little high in the first round.
