The Chicago Bulls have one of the best young cores in the NBA already on their roster, with the emergence of Zach LaVine, the development of Lauri Markkanen and the drafting of Wendell Carter Jr. last season. They could go a long way in further building their assets with the 6th pick by taking one of their biggest needs on paper, a point guard.

Darius Garland has recently shot up NBA Draft boards, and I have a feeling that this will continue to be a theme in the next few weeks and months heading into the draft. He missed the majority of the season with a knee injury, but during his small sample size he was quite impressive.

In five games played this past season, Garland averaged 16 points, four rebounds and three assists on 54 percent shooting from the field and 48 percent from 3-point range. He’d be a great addition for the Bulls, and could develop at a comfortable pace alongside this team’s already talented young core.
