Step 3: Re-sign Thaddeus Young

Thaddeus Young has been a valuable piece of Indiana’s success since he arrived in 2016. His numbers have gone up with the team every year he’s been there and he provides a steady, reliable presence on both ends of the floor.

He’s a decent athlete, can shoot from the outside, defend multiple positions and is good in transition as well.

Best of all? He’s probably not going to cost the team that much and can still be a valuable veteran presence for the team moving forward. Even though he might not be the first name that comes to mind when you think about the Pacers this season, he’s a more important piece to the team than many realize.
