Kawhi Leonard – The Next MJ!?

It seems laughable now that Kawhi was once thought of as a risk for Toronto when they traded for him last summer. Whether he stays or leaves this year, it no longer matters with the show that he has put on this postseason.

In less than 10 games, he has all but cemented himself as the greatest Raptor ever as he has gone on one of the most incredible tears in recent playoff history, the kind that reminds you of LeBron in years past or of what Kevin Durant is doing this year.

He’s always in control of the game, can seemingly get any shot he wants and any shot he does take, seems to just go in as he’s shooting nearly 60 percent from the floor and 50 percent from 3. And he’s doing all of this while remaining just as dominant as ever on the defensive end.

When Kendrick Perkins said that Kawhi reminded him of Michael Jordan, many laughed it off, but if this continues, he may be right. (I’m not saying Kawhi is as good as Jordan, only that he is playing like him and going about the game in a similar way, just with a little less emotion!)
