The Chicago Bulls have one of the most interesting young cores in the Eastern Conference, and adding Coby White could help this team take the next step this upcoming season. Don’t rule out the Bulls taking a big swing on Darius Garland here, but ultimately I believe Coby White is the safer pick of the two.
White has great size for a guard (6-foot-5) and proved the ability to be an effective scorer while playing in the backcourt. He wasn’t the most efficient of players during his time with the Tar Heels this past season, but that often comes with experience and pro coaching.
White would join the Bulls’ core of Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine, and Wendell Carter Jr. All of a sudden, the Bulls’ future is not looking all that bleak – something that many believed to be the case when they traded away Jimmy Butler for pennies on the dollar.
