The big star chooses to stay: Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets

This isn’t exactly going out on a limb here, as Walker himself has said that he’s ok with taking less than the supermax to stay in Charlotte. Considering that, and that the All-Star guard has called Charlotte his “first priority”, chances are Walker is going to re-sign and we’ll see him with the Hornets again next season.

Following in the path that stars like Kobe, Dirk, and Curry took, Walker will be sticking around with the team that picked him up in the draft.

Not only that, but Charlotte will need a point guard of that caliber on the team anyways since Tony Parker has announced his retirement. Without a doubt, MJ will be looking to keep his biggest star right where he is.
