Phoenix Suns – Sign vets to help the young core

Phoenix has been in rebuild mode for almost as long as anyone can remember. They’ve gotten their hands on some spectacular young talent in Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, yet still are one of the league’s worst teams.

Last season, they brought in 39-year-old Jamal Crawford to play a role in the continuation of developing the young core and it seemed to work out pretty well. This is what the Phoenix Suns need to continue to do in order to better their future stars.

It’s guys like Ayton and incoming acquisitions Ty Jerome and (questionable draft pick) Cameron Johnson that need veteran leadership in the locker room to better their game mentally and physically.
