New Orleans Pelicans

Key additions: Zion Williamson, JJ Redick, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Derrick Favors, Jaxson Hayes, Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Key subtractions: Anthony Davis

The New Orleans Pelicans had one of the most interesting offseasons in recent NBA history. They lost their franchise player but managed to come away with another one almost immediately after winning the NBA Draft Lottery.

In addition to adding Zion Williamson and Jaxson Hayes in the draft, the Pelicans added JJ Redick and Derrick Favors via free agency and trade. The Pelicans are deep and talented. It wouldn’t be out of the question for this team to make the playoffs next season.

The Pelicans might not have Anthony Davis, but they’re still one of the most exciting teams in the West. And, might be better without AD?
