1. Jamal Crawford
The Warriors proved why depth is so important last year in the Finals when the Raptors played a box and one defense and Golden State couldn’t find anybody on their thin bench to knock down wide-open jumpers.
If Crawford was playing for the Warriors, there is no way the Raptors employ that defense. The NBA Finals proved just how important depth is in the NBA, and there isn’t a better player in the history of basketball when it comes to starring on second units than Jamal Crawford.
Crawford knows his abilities on the basketball court, he is not in there to play defense, he is not in there to run an offense, he is in there to score. And not only score, but to score in bunches. Crawford is one of the streakiest players in the league, but when he has it going, he is one of the hardest players in the league to stop.
He can score in a multitude of ways, he has one of the best handles in the game, he can pull up on a dime and he is deadly from downtown. Whatever contender gets Crawford is going to get a steal and will automatically have one of the best benches in the NBA.
