Marquee summer move: Trading Paul George, Russell Westbrook

The Oklahoma City Thunder might’ve entered the 2019 offseason with high hopes, however, they ended it on the wrong side of rebuilding. In the matter of a week, the franchise’s entire outlook shifted from contender status to lottery-bound.

Even though they received massive returns on both Paul George and Russell Westbrook, those two players are not just guys you can replace in any given offseason. Plus, the team still has to figure out what to do with the likes of Chris Paul and Steven Adams.

There is still an uphill battle that lies ahead for the Thunder, and I’m not sure that’s something that no one could’ve seen coming based off the season OKC was coming off of.
