After months of trying to find the right deal for Andre Iguodala, I predict that the Dallas Mavericks are going to acquire his rights on deadline day. Unable to find a better deal, the Memphis Grizzlies will be forced to get Iguodala out of their locker room and move on. The Mavs will offer just enough to take their “problem” off their hands.

Whether you’re on Team Iggy or Team Grizzlies is irrelevant; both need the change. Plus, Iggy would be a good fit for a young Mavericks team that has their hopes on making some noise in the postseason. Thus far, the Mavericks have been one of the biggest surprises in the Western Conference.

Adding a seasoned veteran like Iggy will only make this team that much more dangerous. Hopefully, the time off will end up being a positive – and not a negative – for a player like Iggy.
