3. LaMelo Ball, point guard, Illawarra

Overseas in Australia, LaMelo Ball showcased his immense talent and game-breaking potential on a game-to-game basis. His passing is a rather underrated aspect of his game, while his craftiness around the basket to finish with both hands seems to compensate for his untapped athleticism.

However, it was as if his full potential as a player was withheld at the NBL which played a part in his porous shooting performances from the field on a rather alarming basis. LaMelo has a chance to be a superstar at the next level and he has a James Harden-esque feel for the game.

While he takes some very questionable shots, they have a way of going in on a rather consistent basis. He can score on all three levels, gets his teammates involved as well as continues to grow into being a more productive on-ball defender. Fit is the key for the young star to truly fulfill his destiny.
